Aloha, my name is Alexa, and I am the heart and hands behind Butter'd Homemade Baked Goods. A lot of people have their earliest baking memories, making cakes or cookies with a parent or grandparent and I am no different. In fact, my grandma used to fly cross country with cake mixes in her luggage, just to ensure baking would be done, it was that important. I loved it then, and  have loved playing edible chemist ever since!  Nothing beats seeing people take a few moments to enjoy something you made, and knowing you brought a 'pocket of joy' to their day. There was rarely a time growing up when there wasn't at least one baked good sitting in our kitchen.  And over the years not much has changed. As I sit writing this I've got scones in the freezer and chocolate chip cookies in the oven. But my partner and I can only eat so much!

 

Which is why I finally decided to open Butter'd Homemade Baked Goods.  As a home baker, I have had the time and opportunity to recipe trial hundreds of recipes (no hyperbole there), and got feedback from a wealth of coworkers, neighbors, friends, and family. The baked items offered at Butter'd represent the culmination of all those previous batches. Thank you to everyone who helped make these recipes what they are, and thank you those of you who are new or soon to be members of the Butter'd Family.
